I've worn glasses since I was a junior in high school & had always felt very restricted by them. For the longest time I had wanted to have lasik done but was always a little nervous about the procedure. Then I had an opportunity to meet with Dr. Denise Visco at Eyes of York & my decision was made. She 100% put me at ease. Dr. Visco sat down with me & explained the entire process & didn't hesitate answering any of my questions. During the procedure she literally talked me through the whole thing & before I knew it, I was leaving to go home. Very quick & very painless. Kelly West - WARM 103 Radio Personality

Kelly had lens replacement known as PRELEX surgery with the Crystalens here at Eyes Of York. She went on the air through her process beginning with her consultation up to the results from the procedure. Kelly wore glasses mostly for up close reading vision correction and also had some slight trouble with distance vision. She tried monovision with contact lenses and was unsuccessful with the results. I had Lasik surgery done in February '08 so that I could further explore my career dreams. I have wanted to be a police officer for a long time but I could not qualify because my vision was not quite up to their standards.
