Monika Singh, M.D., is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Eyes of York, with a special interest in allergic and dry eye disease, as well as the medical management of eyelid conditions. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care, working closely with individuals to understand their unique needs and deliver personalized treatment plans that improve both vision and quality of life.
Before joining Eyes of York, Dr. Singh provided ophthalmic care in central Pennsylvania, New York City, and central Massachusetts.
Dr. Singh earned her undergraduate degree in Biomedicine with a minor in Psychology from The Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at the City University of New York – City College, where she was recognized on both the Dean’s and Chancellor’s Lists for academic excellence. She went on to earn her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where she also completed her ophthalmology residency. During her final year, she served as chief resident and was honored with a Distinction for Excellence in Ophthalmology. She also received a Distinction in Research for her glaucoma studies and has published findings on the impact of body position on intraocular pressure.
Dr. Singh is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Women in Ophthalmology and the Pennsylvania Medical Society. In addition to seeing patients at Eyes of York, she also provides care at our partner practice, Memorial Eye Institute, at their Camp Hill location.
Outside of work, Dr. Singh enjoys being outdoors, and gardening. She also enjoys watching the performing arts and follows most sports. She became a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, rather recently.
